Happily Ever After....................

So its February & I have a lot to catch up on. Its just so hard to sit in front of the computer when I have to for 8 hours a day, 3 days a week. Johnny is out with the kids so I dont have to feel guilty about blogging. February the month of love I guess it only be fit that I blog about one of my best high school friends wedding reception. Cyndi got married in Mexico last month, her wedding pictures were amazing seriously if I ever get married again I so want to use her photographer LOL!!! The reception was a ton of fun we brought Ella with us which was fun for about 10 seconds to show her off but then I was wishing we left her with my parents. She did pretty well its just hard to socialize while keeping her entertained. Luckily we fed her cups full of ice cubes & a ton of strawberries!!! Unfortunatly I didnt get a group shot of all 5 of us girls who have been BFF's since High school seriously we had so much fun together. We try to get together a few times a year I wish we saw each other even more. Here are some cute pictures we did get:

On Friday the above mention girls & I went & saw Dear John. Oh my word it was so good seriously perfect Valentines movie!!! Just be prepared to cry a lot I dont usually cry in movies come to think of it I didnt even cry at my own wedding!!! Last summer I started reading the book but never finished it now I cant wait to re-read the book!!! I've been thinking a lot lately how I have been taking my marriage for granted. I feel like we have been together for so long & married for quite awhile & I dont tell my husband that I love him nearly enough. I miss the days of holding hands for hours, making out (am I aloud to say that), being newly weds & all of that fun stuff. My goal for February is to try to be more romantic & more loving to my Dear John. I usually combine Valentines & his birthday together since they are 3 days apart. Hopefully I can plan something really fun this year. Heres hoping to a better month with NO fighting last month was really hard for us. All I can say is thank goodness for my family & friends!

I cant believe I have a one year old!!! Ok so I know that he isnt different or anything but I officially dont have a baby anymore. Bobby had a great 1st birthday with just a few tantrums courtesy of his older annoying sister. All day she kept asking me to make her a cake & she told everyone that she was turning one!!! We had to buy her a birthday balloon & she even managed to open one of Bobby's gifts before the party even started!!! Thanks Mom for buying her a gift of her own!!! Oh yeah & lets not forget she declared all of Bobby's toys her toys, ok enough about sweet Ella. Happy Birthday Bobby thanks for being such an easy happy little boy & thanks for putting up with your sister we LOVE you so much!!!!!!

WELL ALMOST.................. does 10 steps count? I think yes!!!!!!! Bobby has been trying to walk for a month he has master walking along furniture, along walls & all his walking toys. I think by his birthday in 2 weeks he will be running, well at least walking every where.

We celebrated my Mom's 50th Birthday this weekend this was the fun cake I made for her. I was inspired by her up coming trip to Hawaii that my Dad is taking her on!!!!

Happy Birthday Mom I hope you had a wonderful birthday you deserve it. You are an amazing Mother who has taught me so much & I still have so much to learn from you. Sorry you had to make your birthday dinner but what can I say none of us know how to cook "Duck"!!!!!!!

Love this picture of Ella we have had a rough week adjusting to me back at work. Lots of crying & tantrums it breaks my heart when she cry's when I leave for work. I know it cant get worse & it can only get better for the kids once they adjust to our new schedule. As for me work is good I remember everything its like I never left!!! The days go by fast, my back is sore from sitting all day long but I shouldnt complain its a nice change from chasing 2 kids. One more bonus is I get to sit for 30 uninterrupted minutes to eat my lunch something I havent done in along time. Now I need to work on eating slowly because I have more than 5 minutes to do so!!!

One of the only meals Ella will eat for lunch is pasta salad with her favorite black olives. She asks for it EVERY day she even knows how to make it. On this particular day she insisted on eating it from the big bowl & she managed to eat the entire thing!!!

We went to Zoolights Monday night yes, the same night that everyone else in Calgary decided to go. It was so busy we have gone I think the last 5 years & it has never been that crazy. We still had fun the lights get more impressive every year. The weather was relatively warm however Ella & I still froze. I guess its not the best idea to go when we all have colds except for Johnny.

Ella was big enough to go on the slide this year. She loved it it was so dangerous it was a complete ice rink on the top & the bottom. I took her up once & fell so I made Johnny take her up & he almost fell. I wonder how many kids got hurt up there?
